About This Tool

This web-based tool allows you to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and automatically convert between metric and imperial units. Enter your weight and height in either system, and the tool will calculate your BMI using the standard formulas:

  • Metric: BMI = weight(kg) / [height(m)]²
  • Imperial: BMI = 703 × weight(lb) / [height(in)]²

After calculation, it displays your BMI, indicates your category (Underweight, Normal, Overweight, Obesity I–III), and highlights your position on a color-coded BMI scale. Any changes you make in one unit system are instantly converted to the other, making it easy to view your measurements in both metric and imperial units.
